I know this isn't a legal will, but it'll do for now.

If I die, please start the avant-garde dance company I always wanted. Dedicate it to me if you wish to, or don't.

Please divide my possessions between yourselves.

Edit my poems to make them presentable and publish them. And someone please pick up my Master's diploma from CSULB when it's available.

I normally try not to overkill on advertisey stuff (I try) but Yasemin and Paul are pretty good dance buddies of mine. Along with Lee and Gigi of Weathervane Arts, they had the idea to put out this calendar based on snakes and bellydancers...'cause Yaz has like a zillion snakes, lol. I saw a copy at TFF and it looks fabulous. Please take a look and consider getting one for a friend for the holidays! Paul, Yaz, Gigi and my friend Khani Zulu are some of the models in it as well.

Stacy Pershall, a friend of mine, is making a documentary film about adolescent girls in residential psychiatric treatment facilities. She will be providing these girls with Super 8 cameras and teaching them to make their own cinematic self-portraits.

Stacy and her cinematographer Alice have a website, http://www.stacypershall. com, where they're trying to raise the money to make the film, one dollar at a time. There is a link on the site where you can donate $1 via paypal, or you can mail a buck in an envelope to Stacy's literary agent. With your help and the magic of the internet, Stacy and Alice are trying to raise $50k.

If 50,000 people give a dollar, the film is made! Please consider a donation, and please repost this everywhere you can! Thank you!

first of all, i changed my Myspace profile song. guess who's soloing in it? i'll give you a clue, she's in my top 4. i love you Claire. Squee!

also, please read the repost below. MWoW is in need of an alto!

The Merry Wives of Windsor are seeking one awesome woman to come play with us. We play at Renaissance Faires around Southern California and sometimes even venture up North. We usually play 2 to 3 large shows a year outside of the Renaissance Faire circuit. This past year we played The Galaxy, The Orange International Street Faire, The Derby and The Grove. We have released three CDs and we will be recording a fourth sometime in our future.

We currently have nine members in the Wives and we are seeking the magical 10th. We have Bouzouki, Mandolin, Bodhran, Fiddle & Bass as our core instruments. If you can expand on that list, come show us! We rehearse Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:pm in Pasadena. Rehearsals are required. We do take small breaks but we are a year around group.

Here is what we need:

Alto (F2 - D5)
Strong sight reading skills
Instrumentation a plus (please bring the instrument to the audition if you want it to count)
Previous Renaissance Faire experience desired but NOT required
Team player with a love for group action (no - NOT like that)
21 or older

The audition will include the following elements:

One song, acapella, any genre - but tell us a story with your singing
One Mwow song for which we will provide music in advance
You will sight read one or more Mwow songs
You will play any instruments that you wish to be considered as part of your audition
You will sing each Mwow song that we use in the audition with a soprano and mezzo; we will be looking at blend and balance
You will rehearse with us on the evening of the audition to see how we all work together. This also allows you to decide if you like how we work.

The first four steps of the audition will take place with the directors and a bouzouki player only. The rest of the audition will be during rehearsal with all members of the band plus auditionees.

The auditions will take place on:

Tuesday, January 15 starting at 6:30pm in Pasadena. You need to plan on being there until 10:pm though we may break earlier than that.

Thanks so much! We are really looking forward to meeting you.
The Merry Wives of Windsor

If you are interested contact Heather at heathergreene AT sbcglobal DOT net (Obviously change to normal email format) to set up an audition time and to receive your music.
